What is the Liberty Ranch
The Liberty Ranch is a highly structured residential facility that is intensely focused on helping the residents integrate the twelve step philosophy into their lives. This is the same process used by Residential Treatment Centers all across the country, but at a much more affordable rate. While residing at the facility clients will work the twelve steps of recovery and gain a working knowledge of the principles and philosophies associated with the 12-step program before they leave. Clients are accepted into the facility after completion of a detoxification program or a substance abuse treatment center.
There are several programs available at The Liberty Ranch, all of which are designed by professionals and individuals who have been working in the field of addiction treatment for many years, and who are very successful.
30 Day Program: Clients enter into the facility after a successful detox, and are immediately enrolled into the highly structured, educational program. New clients are introduced to each other and receive an orientation to operation of the facility. Each client is given their own step work and guidelines to working the 12-steps and deadlines to have the work done. Sponsorship is mandatory and clients begin the process of recovery with the facilities staff that are all sober and actively working a program of recovery. Clients are taken through the first 3 to 5 steps while in the facility, and have attended approximately 7 to 9 12-step meetings per week while there. Clients learn how to work a 12-step program in their daily lives. Graduation is scheduled the last week of residency with the client’s family and loved ones.
60 Day Program: This program is the same as the 30 day program, but takes the individuals through all 12-steps with reading and writing assignments. Clients learn how to work a program of recovery and practice it in the facility with the other residents before leaving the facility. This extended period of time allows an individual more time to get acclimated to recovery and identify relapse triggers in their behavior and learn through the steps how to change such behavior to remain clean and sober. Additional responsibilities are assigned to the resident to continue personal growth and spiritual experience.
90 Day Program: This program further extends a residents experience at working a 12-step program. Residents will work all 12-steps of the recovery program, and continue residing in the facility while learning about themselves and what they need to change to remain clean and sober for the long haul.
All of the programs outlined above are designed to help an individual learn as much as they can about themselves and what it takes to remain clean and sober. Residents are able to practice their program of recovery and learn how to apply it in their daily lives. The more time an individual has to do that with the support of other recovering persons the more likely they are to remain clean and sober upon discharge. Family members are encouraged to participate and begin practicing their own program of recovery by attending 12-step meetings designed for them. They suffer from the effects of chemical dependency and need support as well. The journey of recovery is an experience and continued growth and change is essential.
If residents are from out of town or out of state The Liberty Ranch will make referrals to other long term sober living homes in that area. We believe that continued support over the long term is the most successful approach to recovery from chemical dependency.
